It's Been Awhile
I've let time just get away from me and it has been so long since I have posted to our blog. The girls are such blessings and are growing so fast....Reagan is now 4 and Kensley is 19 months. Time has flown! I know it is going to go by so fast.... Life has been good this year and we are continuing to grow in all sorts of ways! Spirtually, Emotionally, Physically....I don't know what God has in store for us but I know I am excited about our journey with Him and what He has done for our family!

Gentry's Farm
This was the day we went to Gentry's Farm in Franklin!
It was a great day and lots of great pictures!! I love these of Reagan in the sunflowers...I picked out a few to put on the blog. They were so great I thought especially in her Matilda Jane outfit....it looks like she fits right in on the farm!!!! We saw the sunflower patch, the pumpkin patch, went on a hayride, and saw the goats. It was a great day!

KENSLEY TURNS ONE!!!
Kensley turned one this past week! Wow! The time just flew by and I can't believe we are already celebrating one year with our little angel. She has been such a gift and is such a great baby! We had a great weekend with family in town and friends over for the party. The cake was so good. It was from Ivey Cake in downtown Franklin and it was pumpkin flavor with pink butter cream icing! SOOO GOOD! It was great to celebrate her life! Happy Birthday my little princess!
Soccer Time!!
Well, this year we started playing soccer at the YMCA! What an experience! Rick is coaching the U4 for the first time and it has been a learning experience for him! We call it "herd soccer" because they don't play by rules, all of them just run around in a group and kick the ball at the same time! It is hilarious! The uniforms are adorable....way too big and they just hang off of them but it is so cute! Now, Reagan....it remains to be seen if she will be a soccer player!! She usually has her shoes off by the end of the 2nd quarter (they only play 8 min quarters) and tells me everytime that it is too hot!! Maybe...she is going to stick to inside activities!
Washington Trip 2008
Rick and I traveled to our nation's Capitol in September for his National Sales Meeting. We got to stay at the new Gaylord hotel called the Gaylord National. It was brand new and very nice. Rick's meetings were all at the hotel so that was convenient. We got there a day early so tour Washington together and that was fun. We had been once when we lived in Pittsburgh but it was a day trip so we did not get to see a whole lot. This time was much different for me. I got to tour stuff every day I was there. It was a neat place to visit and to see so much history and to realize our government is run right in that city! It was a good trip and I just feel so blessed to have been able to travel to the places I have this year. It has been great! I was also so proud of Rick's accomplishments this year! We feel so blessed by God for all He has given us and all of the opportunities He continues to place in front of us! We pray we will continue to be lead by Him and good stewards of all He has given us!

England Trip
WOW! That is a great way to describe our England Trip. Rick and I have been so blessed to have been able to go on the trips we have this year and this was another one that just he and I were able to go on for 5 days! There is so much history there and so much to take in and see. This picture is at the famous site Stonehenge. Just to be there and think that people 3000 plus years ago built this and possible to use as a calendar is just incredible. Sometimes I think we think we are so advanced and so technological but they did this stuff that long ago!! We walked a lot and saw so much..Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guard, Big Ben, Parliment, Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle, The Tower of London, St. Paul's, Harrod's, and various other sites of the city! We stayed at the Four Seasons in Hampshire, about 1 hour outside of London and it was beautiful! One of my favorite things of the trip was going to a church service at Westminster Abbey. The famous singing by the choir boys and also just being in the place that all the Kings and Queens are crowned and where Princess Diana's funeral took place! It was an amazing trip and I am sure I will be blogging more about it!
